Growing up, my dad always had this exquisite collection of watches and each morning, I would watch him put on a different one before he headed off to work. In my eyes, his watches were a prized collection. Each one unique, beautiful and special in its own way- nobody had as many amazing watches as my dad.
I still remember the first year my sister and I bought my dad his first Father’s Day watch. It had a round face and a leather strap, simplistic and traditional, an everyday watch. To our dad, this gift was the world, and it was the stepping stone into my families Father’s Day tradition – a timeless watch for each holiday. To this day, he still treasures that very first watch, wearing it on special family occasions for its sentimental value.
