-Do not clean in ultrasonic cleaners
-Use a soft, none-abrasive cloth to clean your Ammolite jewellery.

    Ammolite Grades

    -Standard grade stones will display 1-2 colours and can often include matrix lines.

    -A grade stones will display 2 or more colours in brighter tones than standard. Matrix lines may be present

    -AA grade stones will display 3 or more bright colours. Matrix lines may be present

    -AAA grade stone will display 3 or more vibrant colours from any angle. Fine matrix lines may be present

    Not As Expected

    I Bought this for a Christmas gift for my daughter. Shipping was very fast. Everything looks great except for the gem. The gem is very dark and has basically no shine. I literally had to look at it with a Flashlight. The best way to see any real color is to hold it almost flat and look at it at an angle. When worn i have no doubt it will just look black. I think the photo they post on the site must be either a better quality gem that they don't actually use or its brightened up on a computer. I have bought Ammolite from rock stores that look better. Very disappointed in gem quality. The rest of the pendant however looks great! I am glad at least I bought it on sale. The sale price should be the actual price. I would not have been happy to pay the full price of $535 for this. It makes me wonder if its worth gambling on another item that I am thinking of getting.
    I am giving it 3 stars. 1 for fast shipping and presentation it comes in. 1 for the rest of the sterling Silver pendant the amolite sits in. And 1 because it was on sale. I am taking away 2 stars for poor ammolite gem quality. I understand gems vary in color and no two are alike. But it should at least show some color while wearing it and have a brightness somewhat close to advertised.
    The photo i attached is under the best light and held at an angle to see the color.
